Through the GARDASIL Access Program, Merck & Co., Inc. (Whitehouse Station, NJ, USA) has pledged to donate at least 3 million doses of GARDASIL [Human Papillomavirus Quadrivalent (Types 6, 11, 16, 18) Vaccine, Recombinant] for use in approved projects in eligible lowest income countries throughout the world.

The GARDASIL Access Program enables organizations and institutions in eligible lowest income countries to gain operational experience designing and implementing smaller scale human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccination projects, with the goal of supporting the development of successful child and adolescent immunization models. To date, 920,000 doses of GARDASIL have shipped to 20 participants in 18 countries, enough to vaccinate more than 306,600 eligible girls. Click here to learn more about the participating organizations and institutions that have completed or are currently implementing HPV vaccination projects supported by the GARDASIL Access Program.
